Lesbury Railway Viaduct - Alnmouth - Northumberland
The Lesbury Railway Viaduct in Northumberland is an impressive structure along the East Coast Main Line, connecting Newcastle and Berwick. It was constructed in 1849 by Robert Stephenson to replace the older wooden trestle bridge used by the Newcastle and Berwick Railway.
