Bamburgh Castle - Seen through The Dunes, Northumberland
Bamburgh Castle, a Grade I listed treasure, stands near the village of Bamburgh. Its imposing presence tells tales of ancient grandeur. Once, the Celtic Brittonic fort of Din Guarie stood here, possibly the capital of Bernicia, dating back to the 5th century. As history unfolds, its echoes through the castle’s stone walls invite us to uncover its secrets.
