Teesside Landmarks - Four Images of Teesside Landmarks - Black & White - Teesside
Four well known landmarks in Teesside, these four Black and white shots are of HMS Trincomalee, a Royal Navy Leda-class sailing frigate built shortly after the end of the Napoleonic Wars. Steetley Pier off North Sands in Hartlepool was built for the former Steetley Magnesite plant in the 1960s. The 2,000 ft pier was built to provide fresh seawater for the plant. Infinity Bridge, a public pedestrian and cycle footbridge across the River Tees in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees and The Tees Transporter Bridge, often referred to as the Middlesbrough Transporter Bridge, its the furthest downstream bridge across the River Tees. It connects Middlesbrough, on the south bank, to Port Clarence, on the north bank.
